Our solution
Reduce the risk of blood stream and surgical site infections
Global guidelines recommend bed bathing practices with 2% chlorhexidine (CHG) before and after surgery to reduce the risk of blood stream and surgical site infections. This is especially important for high-risk patients, such as those in intensive care and exposed to MDROs. However, traditional liquid methods involve multiple steps and products, which increases the risk of cross-contamination and adds time and complexity for clinical staff.
Clinell’s Chlorhexidine Bathing Range offers a superior waterless alternative featuring wash cloths, wash gloves and an innovative shampoo cap. Designed to simplify skin decolonisation, it delivers consistent 2% CHG coverage, directly to the skin with no rinse required, providing up to 24 hours of residual protection.* The range is validated for dose consistency and helps reduce steps, save time and improve infection prevention.
