GAMA wins People’s Choice Award

GAMA Healthcare are excited to announce that due to your support we were awarded the Cardiff University Innovation and Impact Awards – People’s Choice Award, as well as winning the Business Innovation award. We would like to thank everyone who voted for us.

The award recognises the impact research has within healthcare and industry in solving issues and shaping society. GAMA Healthcare and Cardiff University’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership focussed on providing clinical proof that Clinell Sporicidal Wipes were effective against Clostridium difficile within a healthcare environment. The KTP collaboration was rated ‘outstanding’ by innovate UK.

Support from the general public and infection prevention and control community means a great deal to us as a company and underlines the importance of research into infection prevention and control. As a company we pride ourselves on promoting good science and innovation to deliver effective products that work in real situations. We are already working on a new KTP with Cardiff University exploring the importance of biofilms, we hope this will be as successful.
