GAMA Healthcare expands Rediroom fleet with additional order for Midlands Trust

GAMA Healthcare has secured an order for 8 more Redirooms, bringing its fleet to 30 units for a leading trust in the Midlands.

This new order will support the Trust in addressing clinical challenges, particularly the limited isolation capacity across various departments, while also improving patient flow.

The Redirooms will be distributed across the Trust, with a key focus on Critical Care and Emergency departments. The need to isolate patients suspected or confirmed to have infections is critical, especially in the high-pressure environment of a busy A&E. Failing to properly isolate these patients can have serious consequences, including putting vulnerable groups such as the elderly, immunocompromised patients, and children at higher risk of healthcare-associated infections. This not only complicates patient care but also increases patient stay lengths, placing additional strain on an already overburdened NHS.

Insufficient isolation capacity can disrupt patient flow and hinder the hospital’s ability to quickly discharge patients.
