It’s more important than ever to clean and disinfect the right way. Our resources help healthcare professionals raise awareness and promote best practice.
We know why, here’s how.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought infection prevention and control to the front of everyone’s minds. The WHO and government bodies worldwide have produced comprehensive guidance and clear communications about why we all need to take extra care with our environmental hygiene.
At GAMA, we wanted to do our bit to help teach people how to decontaminate safely.
That’s why we’ve put together our COVID-19: resources for healthcare workers.
This digital collection brings together materials to help raise awareness of, and promote, best practice. We’ll be updating the collection at regular intervals so look out for updates.
All the materials within are free to share, print and use however you need.
Practice makes perfect.
Usually, our Infection Prevention & Control Nurse Trainers are up and down the UK, talking to NHS staff right on their wards. They’re there to promote evidence-based cleaning practice and to teach staff the safe way to decontaminate surfaces (without inadvertently transferring microorganisms from a dirty surface to a clean one).
With the need for social distancing, we’ve asked our in-house experts to compile some helpful educational resources to support IPC professionals on the front-lines.
Find out how to clean safely, how to use product effectively, and how to kill coronavirus. As well as FAQs to answer some of the most common questions we’re asked.
The full COVID-19: resources for healthcare workers section is available here.
