Effective anti-microbial bathing range providing the perfect solution for pre-admission or ITU. Proven to reduce the risk of acquisition of MDROs, Clinell’s Chlorhexidine Bathing products improve patient cleanliness, help to limit the transfer of pathogens and provide an extra level of protection lasting up to 24 hours.

How to use: Self-application

Wash your hands before using Clinell Chlorhexidine Wash Cloths.

Open the pack and remove one cloth by pulling back the resealable label.

Use the wash cloth for your neck and torso.

Use a new wash cloth for your right arm and armpit.

Use a new wash cloth for your left arm and armpit.

Use the wash cloth for your groin (not for use on genitals).

Use a new wash cloth for your right leg, including your foot.

Use a new wash cloth for your left leg, including your foot.

Use a new wash cloth for your back.

Use a new wash cloth for your buttocks.

Dispose of wash cloths. At home - dispose in household waste (do not flush). In a healthcare setting - dispose in line with local protocols.

Wash your hands.

How to use: Bedbound

Wash or decontaminate hands and put on PPE (risk assessment to ensure PPE is worn, as per local protocol).

Help the patient remove their gown and dispose of it in the laundry skip. Cover the patient with a clean towel.

Expose the patient’s top half. Open the package of Clinell Chlorhexidine Wash Cloths and remove one cloth by pulling back the re-sealable label.

Use the wash cloth for the neck and torso. Dispose of the cloth in a disposal bag once complete.

Use a new wash cloth for the left arm and armpit. Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Use a new wash cloth for the right arm and armpit. Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Expose bottom half of the patient’s body. Use a new wash cloth for the groin (not for use on genitals). Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Use a new wash cloth for the left leg, including the foot. Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Use a new wash cloth for the right leg, including the foot. Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Help the patient roll onto their side. Use a new wash cloth for the back. Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Use a new wash cloth for the buttocks. Dispose of the cloth once complete.

Assist the patient in rolling back onto their back and follow local protocol for clean bedding/clothing.

Return the linen skip, dispose of all wash cloths and disposal bag as per local protocol.

Remove PPE and wash or decontaminate hands as per local protocol.
