National recognition celebrates GAMA’s exceptional culture, purpose-driven people and commitment to employee wellbeing
GAMA Healthcare is proud to announce that it has been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 in the Medium Organisation category.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the business and celebrates the culture employees across GAMA help create every day, one built on trust, collaboration, inclusion and shared purpose.
Driven by a mission to help prevent infections and improve lives, GAMA Healthcare has grown into a global organisation while maintaining a strong people-first culture where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
Carrie Litherland, HR Director at GAMA Healthcare, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026.
This award is especially meaningful because it reflects the experiences and feedback of our people. It recognises the culture we have worked hard to build together, one where employees feel supported, listened to, valued and connected to a meaningful purpose.
Our employees are passionate about the impact they make, and this recognition is a celebration of every individual who contributes to making GAMA such a positive and supportive place to work.”
The award highlights GAMA Healthcare’s continued investment in employee wellbeing, development and engagement through initiatives designed to support employees both professionally and personally.
This includes Mental Health First Aiders, protected wellbeing time, ongoing learning and development opportunities, dedicated wellbeing initiatives and continuous employee listening through surveys, pulse checks and feedback platforms.
Alongside this, GAMA offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees emotionally, physically, socially and financially, including Private Medical Insurance, wellbeing resources, professional development support, enhanced family-friendly policies and financial wellbeing support.
Employee engagement remains a key priority for the organisation, reflected in strong survey participation, high levels of advocacy and positive feedback relating to pride, purpose and wellbeing.
Being named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 reinforces GAMA Healthcare’s commitment to creating an environment where people can do meaningful work, grow their careers and feel genuinely supported while helping improve lives through infection prevention.
