Skin-friendly, one-step antimicrobial patient bathing product. Provides up to 24 hours of residual protection.

Effective anti-microbial bathing range providing the perfect solution for pre-admission or ITU. Proven to reduce the risk of acquisition of MDROs, Clinell’s Chlorhexidine Bathing products improve patient cleanliness, help to limit the transfer of pathogens and provide an extra level of protection lasting up to 24 hours.

How to use: Bedbound
Wash or decontaminate hands and put on PPE (risk assessment to ensure PPE is worn, as per local protocol).

Help the patient remove their gown and dispose of it in the laundry skip. Cover the patient with a clean towel.

Expose the patient’s top half. Open the package of Wash Gloves and remove one glove by pulling back the re-sealable label.

Use the wash glove for the neck, torso, and groin. Dispose of the glove in a disposal bag once complete.

Use a new wash glove for the left arm and armpit. Dispose of the glove once complete.

Use a new wash glove for the right arm and armpit. Dispose of the glove once complete.

Expose bottom half of the patient’s body. Use a new wash glove for the left leg, including the foot. Dispose of the glove once complete.

Use a new wash glove for the right leg, including the foot. Dispose of the glove once complete.

Help the patient roll onto their side. Use a new wash glove for the back and buttocks. Dispose of the glove once complete.

Assist the patient in rolling back onto their back and follow local protocol for clean bedding/clothing.

Return the linen skip, dispose of all wash gloves and disposal bag as per local protocol.

Remove PPE and wash or decontaminate hands as per local protocol.

How to use: Self-application
Wash your hands before using Clinell Chlorhexidine Wash Gloves.

Open the pack of Clinell Chlorhexidine Wash Gloves and remove one glove by pulling back the resealable label.

Use the wash glove for your neck, torso, and groin (not for use on genitals).

Use a new wash glove for your left arm and armpit.

Use a new wash glove for your right arm and armpit.

Use a new wash glove for your left leg, including your foot.

Use a new wash glove for your right leg, including your foot.

Use a new wash glove for your back and buttocks.

Dispose of wash gloves. At home - dispose in household waste (do not flush). In a healthcare setting - dispose in line with local protocols.

Wash your hands.
